5th and 6th Grade Students Practice Tikkun Olam at Donation Garden
Our 5th and 6th graders traveled to Rows for the Hungry donation garden in North Brunswick, NJ today to engage in hands-on tikkun olam—repairing the world—by harvesting 380 pounds of vegetables that will be donated to Elijah’s Promise food pantry. This trip coincides with our preparations for Sukkot next week, a time when we reflect on the importance of gratitude, the bounty of the harvest, and the joy of giving back. Our 5th and 6th graders had a blast outdoors getting their hands dirty and helping the community!
