Fourth Grade Students Celebrate Tu B'Shevat With Cross-Curricular Project

Tu B'Shvat—the Jewish holiday known as the New Year of the Trees—was celebrated by our fourth grade students by completing a cross-curricular project.

Each student chose a type of tree and located where it grows in Israel and other countries. They explored how that tree benefits our environment and our lives, and what it needs to grow and thrive. Students then presented a Google slideshow demonstrating their knowledge and creativity in English and Hebrew.
