Invest… In Our Future…
The Shomrei Torah Annual Campaign is our school’s largest and most important annual fundraising campaign. Shomrei Torah provides immediate unrestricted funds that allow our school to provide financial assistance to families in need, new and advanced technology, professional development for the faculty, enrichment opportunities for students and much more.
In 2010-11, the campaign raised over $750,000 in unrestricted gifts from over 500 donors, including current and past parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty and staff and friends.
The Shomrei Torah 2011-12 Campaign is currently underway and is being chaired by parent volunteers Marc Schwartz and Atara Jacobson.
Thanks to the generosity of school grandparents Barbara and Ed Zinbarg, there is another annual fund match this year – the Zinbarg Challenge. All new gifts will be matched 100%. All increases will be matched 200% up to $125,000.
This year, your gift can have an even greater impact! Please help us meet this important challenge!
Special recognition opportunities exist for donors who contribute $5,000 and more. These donors are invited to a special Major Gifts Appreciation Event in a private home. Donors who give at the Shomrei Torah Society level ($1,000 and above) are invited to a special annual Dessert Reception.
Double the impact of your gift!
Donations are often eligible to be matched by employers’ corporate matching gifts programs. Please check with your company’s HR Department. Often, there is a simple form or online application.
Your annual gift of any amount is critical to helping Golda Och Academy meet our commitment to academic excellence. We appreciate your participation in helping us to provide an outstanding education for our students each and every day.
