Our Israel Education Program has received national recognition.
Beginning in Pre-K, our students begin to develop a relationship with the land of Israel, its people and culture.
Beginning in the 4th grade, our students meet regularly with our community’s Rishonim, young Israeli emissaries who are participating in a year of service in MetroWest before starting their army service. The Rishonim follow a sequential curriculum (that goes through 9th grade). Students learn about all aspects of Israel including the language, history, culture and music through a variety of experiential activities. The program is infused with text study and celebrations that all serve to deepen our students’ love of and appreciation for Israel.
The Lower School Israel Club helps participants begin to develop leadership skills while learning about Israel and bringing a greater awareness of Israel to the school community. The members of the Upper School Israel Club serve as mentors to the Lower School Israel Club. The Lower School students are always excited to hear from older students about the opportunities to host Israeli guests and about travel to Israel opportunities that await them in High School.
