Golda Och Academy is pleased to offer a variety of after-school enrichment programs for our Lower School students in grades Pre-K through 5. Our goal is to provide opportunitites for fun and learning outside the confines of regular class time.

Funtracks

Funtracks, our after-school enrichment program, offers three 8-week sessions during the school year. Classes may vary with each season and sign-up period.

Sign-up is on a first-come, first-served basis each session. The program begins immediately after school and ends at 4:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday and at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Students meet in the multi-purpose room after school for a snack provided by the Funtracks program. If your child has special dietary needs, you may send in a (kosher) snack for your child.

Aftercare

Aftercare is offered each school day from dismissal until 6:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. on Fridays) and on half days for an additional fee. Children are supervised while doing homework, playing quietly, reading, playing outdoors or in the gym. Children may participate one day a week or any combination of days. Drop-in care is offered for those who only need Aftercare occasionally. Children may participate in Funtracks (until 4:15 p.m.) and then attend Aftercare until 6:00 p.m.

Homework Club

Homework assistance is available for students in grades 1 through 5 from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. General Studies help is offered on Mondays and Wednesdays; Judaic Studies help is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sign up is available for any combination of days per week.
